to prepare a free written estimate of the total
moving costs. We will note any family heirlooms,
fragile items and antiques that will require special
handling and care. Along with that, the artwork is
noted, and we can bring boxes designed specifically
for moving mirrors and framed artwork. If you want
to save money and do the packing yourself, we will
show you how to pack fragile items, and give you
some tips on how to save money on your move. If you
want, we can do all of the packing for you, from the
artwork on the walls to the dishes in the kitchen.
If we are doing the packing, the day before the move
is scheduled, our professional packing experts will
go to the house to pack up the mirrors, lamps,
kitchen, artwork, any fragile items, and items that
are loose in the garage and throughout the house.
The packing team will label the boxes and get
everything ready for moving day. On moving day the
team will call just before they arrive, and will
then begin preparing everything for the move. All of
the upholstered furniture is first shrink wrapped,
to keep it protected during the move. Then we place
moving blankets on all of the furniture to be moved.
All of the items are carefully loaded into the
truck, and then moved to the new destination. At
